Jody Craddock was a key defender for Wolves from 2003 to 2013. Signed from Sunderland, he became one of the side’s main leaders and later club captain. Craddock was part of the team that won promotion to the Premier League in 2008–09, and he also helped Wolves stay up in the top flight the following season. He was known for toughness, reliability and strong aerial play, but also chipped in with important goals. In 2009–10 he won the club’s Player of the Season award. Across his Wolves career, he made 237 appearances and scored 17 goals, making him a respected figure at Molineux.
