Upton Park, officially the Boleyn Ground, was West Ham United’s home for more than a century and sat at the heart of the club’s identity. More than just a stadium, it was a tight, noisy, intimidating ground where supporters felt close to the pitch and deeply connected to the team. Generations of fans associated it with tradition, community, and the club’s East End roots. From Bobby Moore and Geoff Hurst to Paolo Di Canio and Mark Noble, countless West Ham memories were made there. Its closure in 2016 was emotional for supporters, because Upton Park represented the soul, history, and spirit of West Ham.
