David Moyes had two spells managing West Ham United and is one of their most successful modern managers. He first took charge in 2017, keeping the club in the Premier League, then returned in 2019 and transformed the team. Under Moyes, West Ham finished 6th in 2020–21 and 7th in 2021–22, qualifying for Europe. His biggest achievement was winning the 2023 UEFA Europa Conference League, ending a 43-year trophy drought. He built a disciplined, competitive side and helped develop key players like Declan Rice and Jarrod Bowen.
