Geoff Hurst is one of the greatest players in West Ham United history. A powerful, intelligent forward, he scored 252 goals for the club in all competitions and was a key figure in their golden era of the 1960s. He helped West Ham win the FA Cup in 1964 and the European Cup Winners’ Cup in 1965. Hurst is most famous for scoring a hat-trick for England in the 1966 World Cup final, but at club level he was equally revered for his finishing, movement, and big-game quality. He remains one of West Ham’s defining legends and most iconic academy products.
