John Hartson was a powerful, combative striker who played for West Ham United in the late 1990s. Signed from Arsenal in 1997, he brought physical presence, strong finishing, and a relentless edge to the attack. Hartson scored important goals for the club and formed part of an exciting side that featured players such as Paolo Di Canio, Trevor Sinclair, and Eyal Berkovic. His style was direct and forceful, making him a difficult forward for defenders to handle. Although his time at West Ham was relatively brief, he remains a memorable figure from that entertaining era.
