Trevor Brooking was one of West Ham United’s classiest and most influential players. A gifted midfielder with superb balance, vision, and close control, he spent almost his entire career at the club and became a symbol of technical quality and intelligence. He made 647 appearances for West Ham and scored 102 goals, winning the FA Cup in 1975 and 1980. He is especially remembered for scoring the only goal in the 1980 FA Cup final against Arsenal, one of the club’s greatest moments. For West Ham supporters, Brooking represents elegance, loyalty, and a golden era of cultured football.
