Danny Rose was Tottenham’s fierce, high-energy left-back through the club’s rise in the 2010s. After breaking through with that famous long-range debut goal against Arsenal in 2010, he became first choice under Mauricio Pochettino—aggressive in the tackle, quick over the ground, and relentless overlapping down the left. At his peak he was one of the Premier League’s best full-backs, key to Spurs’ intense pressing and strong defensive record, and he played a major role in the 2016–17 title push and the 2019 run to the Champions League final. Injuries and form dips later reduced his impact, but his best years were elite.
