William Gallas joined Spurs in 2010 as an experienced, battle-hardened centre-back and quickly became a senior figure in Harry Redknapp’s side. Known for strength, pace across the ground, and an aggressive edge, he helped stabilise a defence as Tottenham pushed into the Champions League places and enjoyed that standout 2010–11 European run. Despite arriving with baggage from his Arsenal and Chelsea years, he largely won Spurs fans over through consistent performances and leadership. Injuries and age eventually caught up, but he still made a strong contribution across three seasons before leaving in 2013.
