Dele Alli was the face of Spurs’ fearless rise under Pochettino. Signed from MK Dons in 2015, he exploded onto the Premier League with late runs, clever movement, and ice-cold finishing. At his peak (2015–2017) he was one of England’s best young players, scoring goals, winning penalties, and playing with swagger. He was central to Spurs’ title pushes and their run to the 2019 Champions League final. Injuries, loss of form, and confidence issues led to a steep decline, and he left in 2022. Still, at his best, Dele was magic—instinctive, bold, and unforgettable.
