Tottenham’s 1991 FA Cup win is one of the most iconic in the club’s history. Spurs beat Nottingham Forest 2–1 after extra time at Wembley. Forest took the lead through an own goal by Des Walker, but Paul Gascoigne curled in a brilliant free-kick to equalise before half-time. The match went to extra time, where Gary Lineker scored the winner with a sharp near-post finish. The run itself was legendary: Spurs knocked out Arsenal in the semi-final after Gascoigne’s famous free-kick, then completed the job at Wembley. It was the club’s 8th FA Cup, reinforcing their reputation as a cup side and marking the last major trophy of that era.
