Danny Lennon managed St Mirren from 2010 to 2014, overseeing a transformative period for the club. Appointed after success with Cowdenbeath, he focused on developing young talent and implementing an attacking, passing style. His most significant achievement came in the 2012–13 season, when he guided St Mirren to their first-ever League Cup triumph — a 3–2 win over Hearts at Hampden Park. Lennon’s side also established themselves as a stable Premiership outfit, avoiding relegation and producing players like Kenny McLean and John McGinn. Despite his success, he was dismissed in 2014 after a dip in league form, leaving a lasting legacy.
