Tony Fitzpatrick is one of the greatest figures in the history of St Mirren F.C.. A teenage captain under Alex Ferguson, Fitzpatrick made 458 appearances across two spells with the Buddies, helping the club win the First Division title in 1976–77 and the Scottish Cup Final. He later served as manager, chief executive and club ambassador, dedicating more than four decades of service to St Mirren. Admired for his leadership, loyalty and passion for the Paisley club, Fitzpatrick's lasting influence on and off the pitch has secured his place as one of the most iconic and respected figures in St Mirren's history.
