Graziano Pellè gave Southampton a reliable focal point during Ronald Koeman’s strong 2014–16 spell. Signed from Feyenoord in 2014, he brought height, hold-up play, and sharp finishing, helping Saints replace some of the goals and presence they had lost in the previous summer rebuild. Across two Premier League seasons he scored 23 league goals in 68 appearances, and in all competitions he hit 30 in 80 matches. His best Southampton season was 2014–15, when he scored 16 times in all competitions as Saints finished seventh. Pellè was not just a target man; he linked play well and gave Southampton real presence up front.
