Joseph Ndo was one of the classiest players ever to wear a Sligo Rovers shirt. The Cameroonian midfielder joined in 2010 and brought huge pedigree, calmness and technique to a side entering a golden spell. He helped Sligo win the FAI Cup in 2010, 2011 and 2013, the League Cup in 2010, the League of Ireland title in 2012, and the Setanta Sports Cup in 2014. He was especially influential in the 2010 cup final, where he was named man of the match. In simple terms, Ndo gave Sligo quality, composure and winning experience during one of the club’s best modern eras.
