Jack Byrne has been one of the most gifted midfielders of Shamrock Rovers’ modern era. He first joined in December 2018 and made an instant impact, helping Rovers win the 2019 FAI Cup and later playing a central role in league title wins in 2020, 2022, 2023 and 2025. Technically sharp and creative, Byrne has been known for dictating games, producing moments of quality and raising the standard of the side around him. He was Shamrock Rovers Player of the Year in 2019 and also won back-to-back PFAI Players’ Player of the Year awards in 2019 and 2020.
