Denis Law is one of the greatest players in Scotland national football team history. He won 55 caps (1958–1974) and scored 30 goals, a long-standing national record. Known for his sharp movement, instinctive finishing, and explosive pace, Law was a world-class striker in an era when Scotland regularly faced elite opposition. His most famous Scotland moment came in 1967 at Wembley, when he scored the winner in a 3–2 victory over world champions England. Individually, he remains Scotland’s only Ballon d’Or winner (1964), cementing his status as a true national icon.
