Kenny McLean scored one of the most memorable goals in modern Scotland national football team history with his halfway-line strike against Demark national football team in 2025. In a World Cup qualifier at Hampden Park, McLean spotted goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel off his line and audaciously chipped the ball from inside his own half. The stunning goal gave Scotland 4-2 lead and secured qualification for the 2026 World Cup.
