Kenny Dalglish is one of Scotland’s all-time greats: he won a national-record 102 caps and scored 30 goals, making him joint top scorer alongside Denis Law. He debuted in 1971 in a Euro qualifier against Belgium and went on to represent Scotland at three World Cups (1974, 1978, 1982). A classy, hard-working forward who starred for Celtic F.C. and Liverpool F.C., he combined elite finishing with smart link-up play, and remained a defining figure of Scotland’s modern football identity.
