In the 2014 UEFA Champions League final, Cristiano Ronaldo scored Real Madrid’s fourth goal—a late penalty in extra time—to seal the 4–1 win over Atlético Madrid at Estádio da Luz in Lisbon. Instead of a long run, he went straight into an iconic pose: ripped his shirt off, flexed, and roared, basically turning the last goal into a “final scene” moment. Some reports at the time even claimed the shirt-off pose was staged for cameras connected to a film project about him (debated, but widely reported).
