Ángel Di María’s Real Madrid spell was about flair, versatility, and decisive moments. He played for the club from 2010 to 2014, making 190 official appearances and scoring 36 goals. Real Madrid’s official history page describes him as a tricky, adaptable attacker who could play wide or in more central roles. His defining contribution came in La Décima in 2014, when he was named Man of the Match in the Champions League final after a brilliant extra-time run that led to Bale’s goal. Di María also delivered in domestic finals, making him one of Madrid’s most important big-game players of that era.
