Karim Benzema’s Real Madrid career was about evolution, consistency, and elite quality. Signed from Lyon in 2009, he began as a talented but sometimes underappreciated forward in a star-filled team. Over time, he became one of Madrid’s most complete strikers, combining finishing, link-up play, movement, and intelligence. He won multiple La Liga and Champions League titles, and after Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure, he stepped up as the team’s main attacking leader. His peak came in later years, especially in 2021–22, when he carried Madrid through huge matches. Benzema left as one of the club’s greatest forwards and a modern legend.
