The history of Rangers F.C. is filled with outstanding forwards, and Derek Johnstone, Mark Hateley, Ally McCoist, Peter Løvenkrands, Michael Mols, Kenny Miller, Kris Boyd, Nikica Jelavić and Alfredo Morelos each left a lasting mark on the club. Derek Johnstone was a powerful home-grown striker and hero of the 1972 European Cup Winners' Cup-winning side. In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Michael Mols dazzled supporters with his skill and finishing, while Peter Løvenkrands became famous for scoring decisive goals, including the winner in the 2002 Scottish Cup Final. Kenny Miller enjoyed three spells at Rangers and scored more than 100 goals, while Kris Boyd became one of the most prolific scorers in Scottish football history. Nikica Jelavić was crucial to title success in the early 2010s, combining technical quality with clinical finishing. More recently, Alfredo Morelos became Rangers’ leading scorer in European competition and a key figure in the journey to the 2022 UEFA Europa League Final.
