Raith Rovers’ big “Petrofac/Ramsdens” final vs Rangers was the 2014 Scottish Challenge Cup final (sponsored that season as the Ramsdens Cup). It was played at Easter Road on 6 April 2014, in front of 19,983 with Kevin Clancy refereeing. After a tense 0–0, Raith won 1–0 after extra time when John Baird struck in the 117th minute, pouncing after Cammy Bell had saved Greg Spence’s effort. Managed by Grant Murray, it was Raith’s first-ever win in the competition, and a famous upset over Ally McCoist’s Rangers.
