Lawrence Shankland’s rise started at Queen’s Park, where he came through the youth set-up (2009–11) and broke into the first team as a teenager. Across 2011–2013 he developed into a sharp, penalty-box No.9—good movement, quick finishing, and confident enough to be the focal point despite his age. In league football for the Spiders he scored 11 goals in 34 appearances, and his overall Queen’s Park return is listed as 44 games and 15 goals across competitions. That output earned him a step up to Aberdeen in summer 2013, where his career moved into the full-time professional ranks.
