Bobby Zamora is best remembered at QPR for his dramatic winner in the 2014 Championship play-off final. Against Derby at Wembley, QPR were down to ten men after Gary O’Neil’s red card, but Zamora struck late to seal a 1–0 win and promotion to the Premier League. He was not always prolific for Rangers, but his experience, physical presence and link-up play were valuable. That Wembley goal made him a cult hero and remains one of QPR’s greatest modern moments.
