Les Ferdinand is one of QPR’s greatest modern strikers. Coming through at Loftus Road, he became a powerful, explosive centre-forward known for pace, heading and ruthless finishing. His best spell came in the early Premier League years, especially 1992–95, when he scored regularly and became an England international. In 1992–93, his goals helped QPR finish 5th, the top London club that season. Ferdinand moved to Newcastle in 1995 for a major fee, but his QPR legacy is huge. He later returned as Director of Football, strengthening his connection to the club.
