Safet Sušić was PSG’s first true magician. In the 1980s, he gave the club imagination, flair, and a level of technical genius that made him feel ahead of his time. Everything ran through him: disguised passes, sudden changes of direction, delicate touches, and the ability to slow or accelerate a match at will. He was not a pure athlete or relentless presser; he was an artist, someone who saw spaces before anyone else did. For many older supporters, he remains one of the most naturally gifted players PSG have ever had. Not just a star of his era, but one of the club’s original icons.
