The sponsor’s prize was… a pizza voucher So during the post-match presentation, instead of a trophy or champagne, Sammon was handed a literal pizza, which looked hilarious on social media. The image of a professional striker being awarded a pizza for his performance went viral and became a long-running Scottish football meme.
