Kris Doolan is modern Partick Thistle royalty. Signed in January 2009, he became the club’s go-to striker for a decade: 401 appearances, 121 goals, including a club-record 107 league goals. He hit double figures for eight straight seasons and was the first Thistle player to reach 100 league goals, mixing sharp box movement with clever finishing. One headline night: four goals vs Hamilton in January 2015. Inducted into the club’s Hall of Fame, he later returned as a coach, became manager in March 2023, led Thistle to a Premiership play-off final (lost to Ross County on pens after County’s comeback), and left in February 2025.
