In 1920–21, Partick Thistle produced the greatest season in their history. Under manager George Easton, the Jags finished sixth in the Scottish First Division, but it was the Scottish Cup run that defined the year. Thistle fought through a marathon campaign that took 11 matches, negotiating multiple replays, before reaching the final at Celtic Park on 16 April 1921. There, they beat Rangers 1–0, with John Blair scoring in the 23rd minute. Goalkeeper Kenny Campbell starred, and the victory remains Thistle’s only Scottish Cup triumph.
