Stuart Pearce had two spells at Nottingham Forest (1985–1997 and 1998–2002) and became one of the club’s defining modern-era figures: aggressive, fearless, and relentlessly athletic at left-back. Nicknamed “Psycho,” he combined brutal 1v1 defending with a huge left-foot shot and set-piece threat. Under Brian Clough he was a key part of Forest’s late-80s/early-90s success—winning the League Cup in 1989 and 1990 and reaching the 1991 FA Cup final. He was also a long-time Forest captain and an enduring fan favourite at the City Ground.
