Stan Collymore’s Nottingham Forest spell (1993–1995) was short but hugely impactful. Signed from Southend, he became the focal point of Frank Clark’s attack alongside Brian Roy, blending power, pace and close control as Forest finished third in the Premier League in 1994–95 and qualified for the UEFA Cup. His form made him one of the division’s standout forwards and earned England recognition. In summer 1995, Forest sold him to Liverpool for a then British-record fee, ending a two-season peak that’s still remembered as one of the best individual Forest striker spells of the modern era.
