Wes Hoolahan was Norwich City’s modern magician: small, clever and constantly creative. Signed from Blackpool in 2008, he stayed for a decade and became central to three promotions — 2010, 2011 and 2015. His best role was as the roaming No. 10, linking midfield and attack with vision, balance and disguise. Under Paul Lambert, he helped drive Norwich from League One to the Premier League in two seasons, then remained influential under later managers. He left in 2018 after more than 350 appearances, remembered as one of Carrow Road’s most gifted and loved players.
