Paul Scholes’ famous volley against Aston Villa in the 2006 Premier League is one of the most iconic goals in English football. The ball was cleared out of Villa’s box and dropped outside the area, where Scholes struck it first time on the half-volley. His shot rocketed into the top corner, leaving the goalkeeper helpless. The technique, timing, and power were classic Scholes. The goal sealed a 3–0 win for Manchester United and is often voted as one of the greatest goals ever scored at Old Trafford, perfectly capturing his shooting brilliance.
