Joe Hart’s Manchester City spell (2006–2018) was the bridge from “noisy ambition” to serial winners. He became first-choice around 2009–10 and grew into a big personality No.1: loud organiser, strong reflex saves, and huge confidence in one-on-ones. At his peak he was the league’s standout keeper, winning four Premier League Golden Gloves and starring as City lifted the 2011 FA Cup plus Premier League titles in 2011–12 and 2013–14 (and League Cups). Later, Guardiola’s build-from-the-back demands and form dips saw him phased out, leading to loans and departure.
