Emmanuel Adebayor’s most infamous Man City moment is his full-pitch sprint celebration vs Arsenal. It happened in City’s 4–2 win over Arsenal in September 2009: after heading in to make it 3–1, Adebayor ran the length of the pitch and celebrated right in front of the away Arsenal fans, arms out, which predictably sparked fury and chaos in the stands. The FA later punished him with a £25,000 fine and a suspended two-match ban for improper conduct.
