David Martindale is the modern face of Livingston FC. After first getting involved at the club in 2014 (initially volunteering), he rose through coaching and recruitment roles before taking over as manager in November 2020 and being appointed permanently the next month. He’s known for building competitive teams on tight budgets, with a clear emphasis on organisation, intensity, and collective work rate. A major high point came in 2024–25, when he led Livingston to cup success in the Scottish Challenge Cup and then promotion back to the Premiership via the play-offs.
