Liverpool’s 2018–19 Champions League campaign is one of the greatest in the club’s history. After finishing second in a tough group, they eliminated Bayern Munich and Porto before producing the iconic semi-final comeback against Barcelona, overturning a 3–0 first-leg deficit with a stunning 4–0 win at Anfield. Divock Origi and Georginio Wijnaldum scored the goals that shocked Europe. In the final in Madrid, Liverpool beat Tottenham 2–0, with Mohamed Salah’s early penalty and a late Origi strike. Jürgen Klopp lifted his first trophy with the club, delivering Liverpool’s sixth European crown.
