Daniel Sturridge at Liverpool (2013–2019) was a devastating finisher when fit: sharp movement, quick feet in tight spaces, and that trademark curl into the far corner. Signed from Chelsea, he immediately clicked—especially alongside Luis Suárez in 2013–14—forming “SAS,” one of the Premier League’s most lethal partnerships. Sturridge’s blend of pace, close control, and cold-blooded finishing powered Liverpool’s title push, and he chipped in with big goals in Europe and cups. The story, though, is injuries. Repeated setbacks robbed him of rhythm and minutes, and he became more of a rotation option later on. Even so, his peak was world-class and unforgettable.
