Dirk Kuyt at Liverpool (2006–2012) was the ultimate workhorse forward—relentless pressing, constant running, and a knack for clutch goals. Not the flashiest winger or striker, but managers loved him because he did the dirty work: tracking full-backs, attacking the back post, and setting the tone for intensity. His signature Liverpool moment is the hat-trick vs Manchester United at Anfield in March 2011, all from close range after smart movement. He also scored key goals in cup runs, including in the 2007 Champions League semi-final and the 2012 League Cup final, which Liverpool won. Kuyt left as a fan favourite: maximum effort, big occasions, and total commitment.
