Claudio Ranieri was the manager who turned Leicester City’s great escape into the most unlikely title win in modern English football. Appointed on 13 July 2015, he did not overhaul the team so much as refine it, keeping Leicester’s pace, discipline, and counterattacking threat while adding calmness and belief. Under Ranieri, Leicester won the 2015–16 Premier League with 81 points, finishing 10 points clear of second place after starting the season as huge outsiders. He was named Premier League Manager of the Season, and his man-management became central to the story. Ranieri gave Leicester simplicity, confidence, and the leadership behind one of football’s greatest fairytales.
