Andy King’s role in Leicester City’s 2015–16 title win was less about being the star and more about embodying the club’s journey. An academy product, he became the first player in the Premier League era to win the top three English divisions with the same club when Leicester were crowned champions on 2 May 2016. On the pitch, he was a useful squad midfielder rather than an automatic starter, making 25 Premier League appearances and scoring 2 league goals, with 29 appearances and 3 goals in all competitions. In that season, King represented continuity, loyalty, and Leicester’s rise from League One to champions.
