Leeds United 1971–72 was one of the finest seasons of the Don Revie era. Leeds finished second in the First Division, narrowly missing the title, but crowned the campaign by winning the FA Cup. They beat Arsenal 1–0 at Wembley, with Allan Clarke scoring the winner from the penalty spot. Captained by Billy Bremner, the side blended steel and control, with key figures like Johnny Giles, Norman Hunter, and Paul Madeley. It was Leeds’ first-ever FA Cup, confirming their place among England’s elite.
