John “Yogi” Hughes managed Inverness Caledonian Thistle from 4 December 2013 to May 2016, and delivered the club’s greatest era. He made ICT tough, organised and dangerous on the break, and almost struck immediately—reaching the 2013–14 League Cup final (lost to Aberdeen on penalties). The peak was 2014–15: Inverness beat Celtic in an epic semi, then won the Scottish Cup (2–1 vs Falkirk) for the club’s first major trophy. They also achieved their highest league finish (3rd) and qualified for Europe.
