Ryan Christie came through Inverness Caledonian Thistle’s youth system and made his senior debut in 2013 under Terry Butcher. A creative, hard-working attacking midfielder, he became a key player under John Hughes, starring in the 2014–15 season when Inverness finished third in the Premiership and won the Scottish Cup — the club’s first major trophy. Christie’s energy, vision, and technique earned him a move to Celtic in September 2015, though he briefly returned on loan. At Inverness, he made 65 appearances, scored 10 goals, and established himself as one of Scotland’s top emerging talents.
