Eto’o at Inter was sacrifice, intelligence, and winning mentality. He arrived in 2009 as part of the Ibrahimović deal and immediately became crucial to José Mourinho’s side, not just for goals but for discipline and tactical work. In the 2009–10 treble season, he often played wider or deeper than a pure striker, giving the team balance while still helping deliver the Serie A, Coppa Italia, and Champions League titles. He then exploded again in 2010–11, scoring a career-best 37 goals for Inter before leaving in 2011. Inter’s own Hall of Fame page calls him “crucial” to that 2009–11 success, which fits perfectly.
