Baggio at Inter was elegance in an uneasy environment. He arrived in 1998 after an outstanding season at Bologna, but his time in Milan never quite became a natural fit. Injuries, coaching changes, and tactical tension kept interrupting him, even though his quality was obvious. He still produced moments of rare class: delicate touches, disguised passes, and the sense that one action could change a game. Across two seasons, he scored 17 goals in 59 appearances for Inter, but the spell is remembered less as a triumph than as a reminder. Even in difficult circumstances, Baggio could still make football feel refined and special.
