Craig Halkett has been a key Hearts centre-back since joining from Livingston in June 2019, bringing leadership, aerial strength and a knack for important goals. Hearts list him at 160 appearances and 16 goals for the club. He’s also had to battle setbacks, including a long spell out with a cruciate ligament injury. Off the pitch, Hearts have repeatedly shown trust in him: he signed a deal to 2026 in January 2024, then another extension in December 2025 keeping him at Tynecastle until summer 2028.
