Marco Silva is one of the most important managers in Fulham’s modern era. Appointed on 1 July 2021, he led the club to the 2021–22 Championship title in his first season, securing immediate promotion back to the Premier League. Fulham’s own history says his first year brought the club’s first Championship crown and a team that scored freely. Since then, Silva has given Fulham stability in the top flight and a clear identity built on organisation, energy, and front-foot football. He signed a contract extension in October 2023 running until the end of 2025–26, and Fulham’s current staff listings and March 2026 press material show he is still the club’s head coach. For Fulham, Silva is mainly remembered as the manager who turned them from a yo-yo side into a more established Premier League team.
