Aleksandar Mitrović was one of Fulham’s most important modern strikers. After arriving on loan from Newcastle in February 2018, he became the focal point of the attack and later signed permanently. Fulham say he left for Al Hilal in August 2023, and by then he had scored 111 goals in 206 appearances for the club. His biggest Fulham season was 2021–22, when he scored 43 league goals, setting the record for the most goals in a 46-game English league season as Fulham won the Championship title. He also helped the club win promotion in 2018 and 2020. At Fulham, Mitrović is remembered for power, aerial dominance, aggression, and relentless finishing. He remains one of the defining players of the club’s modern era.
